Trisha was born on May 4th, 1983 to father Krishnan, and mother Uma in Palakkad, Kerala. She first ventured into modelling and later got offers and joined films. Her career started of low, from Jodi (guest appearance), Lesa Lesa (first as the role of heroine), Manasellam, Mounam Pesiyadhe, Alai and afterwards her road to success began.With Saamy, starring opposite Vikram, being a Blockbuster she was catapulted to fame and her fanbase started to grow rapidly. Till date, she has starred opposite almost all major young and top heroes of South India. As media describes her the Queen Bee of Tamil and Telugu Cinema.
